This is the Sagamihara Development Farm. The seedlings we have planted are now growing big, so this time we will talk about attracting them.

Mini-tomatoes need to be supported, otherwise they will fall over, so here we use a string suspended from the ceiling. The string is then wrapped around the stems of the tomatoes and clipped at a height that allows them to be supported in a straight line.

This allows the stalks to grow straight upwards, giving them full exposure to the sun and making them easier to harvest.
