Thirty eighth graders visit the farm

At the end of January 2023, 30 second-year students from Zushi Junior High School in Zushi City, Japan, came to learn about our SDGs and future-oriented agriculture.
The students listened to our explanations as if they were taking a class, and actively asked questions about the varieties and how agriculture has changed. The rest of the time was free harvesting and tasting time, as it was the last stage of cultivation, and the participants went around the greenhouses checking the differences in the varieties. The lively voices echoed through the greenhouses at once. I am happy to say that the participants seemed to enjoy the harvest more than I had imagined.
It was a smiling time that I hope was not only a learning experience but also a good memory.
